Weigh in, Week 4

This week I lost two and a half pounds, bringing the total for the month to twelve pounds! Yay!

A pretty good result for the first month I think and all with no hunger or calorie counting. Just healthy eating.

Here’s a couple of typical days’ eating during this last month;

Breakfast: cereal, coffee and a banana

Lunch: pumpkin soup with bacon pieces, low fat natural yoghurt and salad

Dinner: big steak with roasted vegetables, garlic mushroomsย and salad

Snacks: As much fruit as I like, a couple of squares of dark chocolate, sliced meat, veg.

Breakfast: Cereal, coffee, banana (I’ve been training myself to eat breakfast and this is what I’m up to so far ๐Ÿ™‚ )

Lunch: Baked potato, baked beans, cheese and salad

Dinner: Big ( really. Piled up) bowl of pasta with a tomato sauce and a chicken breast.

Dessert: chopped Strawberries, grapes and apple, mixed with low fat strawberry yoghurt.

Whew! That’s a lot of food! I’m sure as time goes on the amounts will get less but for now, the appetite is big. ๐Ÿ™‚

Anyway, still determined and still exercising. I went swimming for the first time in a while yesterday and I really enjoyed it. I’ll go again sometime this week I think. There’s something very soothing and meditative about the rhythmic movements in swimming.

I can hear Z. upstairs calling from his cot, so that’s it for now. ๐Ÿ™‚
